Deeptext is run by Vitor Dal Mora, who decides how the data below is used. For any question or request, write to vitor@deeptext.co.
What we collect
- If you subscribe: your e-mail address and when you confirmed it.
- If you create an account: your name, your e-mail address and a hash of your password. We cannot read the password itself.
- While you are logged in: the IP address and browser of each login, to keep your session working and to notice abuse.
- If you comment: the comment, which is public along with your name. Your e-mail address is not shown.
Reading the site needs no account. We use no analytics and no advertising trackers, and our e-mails do not record whether you opened them or clicked a link.
Why we use it
- E-mail subscription: your consent, given when you open the confirmation link. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Account and comments: to provide what you asked for, including the messages an account needs, such as a password reset.
- IP addresses: our legitimate interest in keeping accounts safe and stopping abuse.
Cookies
Two cookies keep you logged in, and they exist only if you log in. Your choice of light or dark theme stays in your browser and never reaches us.
Who else handles it
- Railway hosts the site and the database.
- Resend delivers our e-mails, so it receives your address and the message.
- Have I Been Pwned is used to check whether a new password has leaked. It receives only the first characters of a hash, never the password or your address.
These companies may process data outside Brazil, including in the United States. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Unsubscribing deletes your address from the list at once.
- An address that is never confirmed stops working after 3 days, and the next cleanup deletes it.
- A login record lasts up to 30 days, and the next cleanup after that deletes it.
- Account data stays until you ask us to delete it. Deleting an account is not automatic yet, so write to us and we will do it.
Your rights
Under Brazil's data protection law (LGPD), you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, ask who it was shared with, and withdraw your consent. Write to vitor@deeptext.co. You can also complain to the national authority, the ANPD.
